Technology festival makes return to Redbridge Library

Redbridge Central Library and Museum will once more play host to Tech Ilford 2019, an event developed to engage and inspire young minds in the community.

The returning technology festival invites attendees to take part in a day full of workshops and activities designed for all different ages. No experience is necessary, just a curiosity about technology and a desire to experiment and explore.

Promoters for festivals such as this can rely on flyer printing services to create leaflets and advertise events to reach a wider audience and ensure a good attendance from the general public.

The technology festival workshops and activities will take place in the Redbridge Central Library and Museum, which is located on Clements Road in Ilford.

Workshops will include opportunities for toddlers to take their first steps in learning code or creating items from favourite Books by crafting with newsprint. Opportunities to build worlds and games using programming will be offered as well as the chance to design aliens with 3D software and create a robot arm from household items.

Finally, a virtual reality playground awaits visitors who will be able to zip round Ilford’s town centre in a mono-wheel, leap buildings and enjoy a play-park swing wearing a VR headset.

Tech Ilford 2019 will be held on Saturday June 15 during library and museum opening hours until 4pm.
