A civic centre in Ilford will present a festival designed to showcase young musical talent in the area this spring.
Young musicians from around Ilford can get involved in an event called "Over the Rainbow" later this year. The spring festival is open to those aged between four and 24 and has a hybrid format that lets musicians participate in a non-competitive experience, via a live concert, a virtual concert (after submitting a recorded video of themselves performing), or both. The virtual event will be screened ahead of the live event on the official YouTube channel for the festival.
Organisers of music events sometimes connect with full-service Print shops that can supply a diverse selection of promotional materials like Posters, Flyers and Brochures.
There are three core categories for the event, each additionally divided by levels of ability and age. These include vocal performances, instrumental performances and folk or traditional music from around the world.
The Over the Rainbow music festival will now take place online on Sunday, March 8 and live at Redbridge Town Hall on Sunday, March 22. The civic hub is based at 128 - 142 High Road in Ilford and young musicians wishing to enter must do so by the closing date of Friday, February 20. Details regarding rules of entry, participation Forms, and video requirements are available through the festival’s website.
