Ilford to welcome back art event

A two-day art festival will be enjoying its second edition in Ilford this summer and will feature live art, markets, music and more.

Residents with a passion for art and community will therefore have something to celebrate this year. August will see the town centre abuzz with the return of the Ilford inColour art festival. Presented by local non-profit organisation Ilford Business Improvement District (BID), the event will run across two days and showcase street art from local creators.

Organisers of art festivals sometimes order low-cost Promotional Products featuring campaign slogans and branding to give to guests as part of the celebrations.

Locals as well as visitors from further afield attending the festivities will find an abundance of activities and entertainment happening around town. Artists will be painting live between 12 pm and 5 pm, transforming the heart of Ilford with large scale artworks. Celebrating creativity, community and culture, the weekend event will assemble a wide range of street artists, visual creatives and muralists, while live music will deliver a festival soundtrack.

Ilford inColour 2026 will now run on Saturday, 15 and Sunday, 16 August. The festival is taking place at multiple sites around Ilford Town Centre. These include the Exchange Ilford entrance on Cranbrook Road, Bodgers Building on Station Road, Redbridge Town Hall on the High Road, SPACE Ilford’s entrance on Clements Road and Ilford Chapel Hospital on Ilford Hill, among others.
