A cycling centre in Ilford is presenting an experience for bike riders that lets them appreciate rural Essex in spring.
Cyclists from Ilford and surrounding towns can participate in the Tour Essex Sportive 2026. A collaboration between the Hornchurch Cycle Club and the Redbridge Cycling Centre, the guided event takes inspiration from the famous French bicycle race and allows its riders to enjoy views of the picturesque countryside of Essex.
Cycling clubs and other sporting associations sometimes work with brochure printing services to create informational Booklets for new members that discuss benefits, costs and services.
The event will take riders on bike-friendly lanes around Essex, and participants can enjoy mostly smooth surfaces whether they’re seeking a relaxed meandering ride or a chance to beat their best average speed. A choice of three distances (42, 72 and 110 miles) is open to entrants to match different abilities and endurance levels.
Hungry riders will find three food stops dotted along the course so they can replenish their energy levels with free snacks and sports drinks. Mechanical support will also be available on the day.
The Tour Essex Sportive 2026 will now run on Sunday, May 17. The event starts at 7.30 am and finishes at 4 pm at Redbridge Cycling Centre, which is located on Forest Road in Ilford. Entry to the sporting event is £30 per cyclist.Get a Free Quote for Booklets
