Christmas crafting comes to Ilford
An art centre sited in Ilford is set to host a festive workshop this winter for people who want to make Christmas decorations.
Residents of Ilford and its surrounding area can soon participate in a family-friendly art event. Designed especially for the Christmas season, the workshop is titled “Festive Decoration Making” and is led by artists Jill Tytherliegh and Linzie Hunter.
Professional artists often order branded calling cards from business card printing services featuring their contact information to help them extend their client list.
On the day, Hunter and Tytherliegh will help attendees create their own standalone tree ornament or garland with a bird theme. The papercraft decorations are made by cutting, colouring, drawing and sticking and those taking part can create their own motifs or use the artists’ Scandi-inspired design work.
The practical session is aimed at all age groups and is carried out in a relaxing environment. At the end of the workshop, attendees can take their creations home to decorate their homes for the holidays or give them as gifts to friends and family.
The Festive Decoration Making workshop will be held at SPACE Ilford on Saturday, December 6. The event will begin at 11 am and ends at 3 pm and admission is completely free. The arts hub is simple to find at 10 Oakfield Road in Ilford.
