The Orchid Society of Great Britain (OSGB) is holding its annual spring event in Ilford next month and it will see a diverse selection of the fragrant flowers on display.
All are invited to attend the show to appreciate displays crafted by the Lea Valley Orchid Society and the Cambridge Orchid Society. There will also be an opportunity to see an educational orchid display by renowned orchid specialist, Helen Milner. Awards will be presented for the best displays on the day.
Visitors will also be able to purchase from and talk to traders including Roy Barrow, Spicesotic Plants and Orchid Alchemy. Enterprises attending events and shows can sometimes benefit from handing out Business Cards to those who buy products and encourage repeat sales.
The chosen venue for the show is the Valentines Mansions and Gardens on Emerson Road in Ilford. A grade II listed building constructed in the 17th century, the mansion was fully restored with assistance from Redbridge Council in 2008.
Tickets for the event are priced at £3 per person but entrance is free for card carrying members of the OSGB. Gants Hill underground station is in easy walking distance of Valentine Mansion, where free on-street parking is available.
The OSGB Annual Spring show will be open to the general public from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, March 7.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
