Developer Telford Homes wants to construct a 28-floor building in the Ilford area, providing 240 new residences close to the centre of town. The site selected for the new development is the Mill Road Car Park.
Jerome Geoghegan, land director for the firm, said the project aimed to transform the proposed site and provide the community with “much-needed new homes.”
The developer has stressed the importance of area residents’ opinions of the project and has arranged a series of online public consultations to receive feedback.
Geoghegan commented:
“It is vitally important to us that residents have a genuine opportunity to shape our Plans, which is why we are launching this early round of public consultation to seek your views.”
Telford Homes has also stated that part of the project will involve contributions towards regeneration of Mill Road. Property development firms and other enterprises can sometimes use Graphic Design Services to produce literature outlining their ongoing and future projects to member of the public.
According to the developer, a substantial number of the available apartments will deliver affordable housing options, and all will be offered as rentals, although no exact details are currently available. If successful in its Plans, Telford Homes will begin building the residential tower in 2022.
