A social club based in Ilford has recently nominated a brand-new president.
For a fresh start to 2022, a local social club called Ilford Probus has made Alan Turner its new elected president, with Turner taking the reins from former president Tony Barclay. The Ilford Probus membership consists of mostly retired people from a variety of different walks of life, and it involves social outings and events where guest speakers give dedicated talks. While places are limited, vacancies currently exist at the group, according to the new president.

President Turner’s Plans include growing the Ilford Probus membership and continuing the club’s ongoing tradition of monthly meetings on the first Friday of every month. These are held locally at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant at 5 Beehive Lane in Ilford.
