The King George Hospital in Ilford, Essex was recently awarded £5 million investment. The funds have been used to create all-new facilities for the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) to assist it in managing critical care demand on site.
Local hospitals, clinics and other institutions operating in the healthcare sector often employ professional Print services to create letter heads for their official correspondence featuring their logos and contact details.
Local politicians from Redbridge recently visited the new facilities. Sam Tarry, MP for Ilford South, commented:
“It’s so uplifting that for the third time in less than a year, I’ve visited King George Hospital to see new facilities. The investment not only boosts and benefits residents but also staff.”
Cllr Jas Athwal, Council Leader for Redbridge added that while the ITU was a facility you hope that you will never need to use, you are always grateful that it is there.
Thanks to the recent funding, the King George Hospital’s Intensive Therapy Unit has now increased its capacity from eight beds to 12 and installed brand-new ventilators. It has also been able to add a central staff station at the very heart of the unit and a dedicated room for relatives of patients.
