Ilford to welcome technology event

A family-friendly day dedicated to technology will be held at one of Ilford’s most popular libraries this summer.

This June Ilford’s Redbridge Central Library and SPACE Ilford will be hosting an event entitled “Tech Ilford 2023”. Designed for those of all ages, the day will focus on technology as well as the maths, engineering, arts, and science that make it possible. Local community hubs like libraries often enlist professional flyer printing services to create attractive advertisements for the events they host to encourage attendance.

Packed with free activities for all the family, Tech Ilford 2023 has a wide range of events featured on its programme. Back by popular demand, the Invisible Man experiment will return support from outdoor arts innovator Without Walls and SPACE Ilford will become the site of a giant sculpture studio.

Attendees will also get a chance to build their own robot badges which feature flashing eyes powered by an LED circuit, as well as an opportunity to construct their own camera obscura. Peckish, the hungry interactive rubbish bin, will also be on site allowing visitors to feed him and see what his reaction might be.

Tech Ilford 2023 will take place at Redbridge Central Library and Museum on Saturday, June 17. The venue is located on Clements Road in Ilford; the event will run from 11am until 4pm.
