A multi-talented comedian and actor who published her first book in 2022 is bringing her new show to Ilford this summer.
Ilford residents looking for a laugh in June can now catch Sukh Ojla on stage at a local theatre. The comedian, actor and author will be introducing audiences in the town to her brand-new show called “The Aunty Years.”
Theatres and clubs that host newcomers of the stand-up comedy circuit sometimes enlist the aid of Graphic Design Services to produce colourful promotional Posters.
A familiar face on television and the successful author of “Sunny”, Ojla’s new show finds her approaching the age of 40 and contemplating what middle age means.
Topics covered will include feeling like she’s a toddler who lost her mum at Tesco, the joy found in Tupperware and pretending to grow up, to name but a few.
As a comic, she has appeared on The Big Asian Stand-Up Show and the Jonathan Ross Comedy Club and carried out nationwide tours.
Ojla has also appeared on numerous acclaimed TV shows including Bridgerton for Netflix, Black Mirror, GameFace and Feel Good for Channel 4, and Hospital People and EastEnders on BBC1.
Sukh Ojla will perform The Aunty Years at the Kenneth More Theatre on Sunday, June 2. The show will start at 6 pm and the theatre is situated on Oakfield Road in Ilford.
Tickets can be purchased for the event at £18.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services Get a Free Quote for Posters
