Ilford to host H&S training

A health and safety (H&S) training course will soon take place in Ilford.

Operatives in the construction industry around Ilford won’t want to miss an upcoming event in the area entitled ‘The Health and Safety Awareness Training Course’. Those holding educational opportunities like courses and classes sometimes use dedicated brochure printing services to create informative Booklets explaining what is involved to interested candidates looking to become qualified.

The single day programme has been developed for all staff in the building sector who need a comprehensive understanding of UK regulations for health and safety relating specifically to construction activities. The course can be used as prior training before undertaking Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) assessments as well as Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) H&S touch-screen tests.

The course and the experience gained on it can provide construction site staff with a clear understanding of the ways in which health and safety impact their job role. It also offers practical steps that they can take to make sure they always engage in safe practice while on site.

A wide range of topics are covered on the course, from working at height and manual handling to first aid and emergency procedures.

The Health and Safety Awareness Training Course will take place at the Acorn Centre on Roebuck Road in Ilford on Tuesday, November 22. The course starts at 8:00 am and ends at 4.30 pm, with tickets priced at £145 per person.
