An upcoming event in Ilford will see street dancers enter the qualifying round of a world-famous contest.
Dubbed the “UDO Essex Street Dance Championship 2022”, the upcoming competitive event invites dancers from around Ilford to take part and showcase their skills. The United Dance Organisation (UDO) is a qualifier for the Worlds & European Championships, and dance fans along with family members and friends of competitors are also welcome.
Street dancers of all ability levels are being welcomed by the event organisers, ranging from absolute beginners to those with advanced training. Additionally, different age categories have been created for people to compete and qualify alongside their peers. Organisations holding competitions like championships sometimes employ the design services of professional Print shops to offer certificates to award winners at events.
The Ilford event will divide dancers into three different classes, single performers, duos, and teams. The competition requires team music to be entered onto its dedicated website when a team is registered. As security, dancers are advised to bring along a USB device with their music uploaded to the event as a backup.
UDO Essex Street Dance Championship 2022 will take place on Sunday, April 3 at Redbridge Sports Centre on Forest Road in Ilford, Essex. Doors to the competition will open at 8:15 am and the championships will commence at 9:00 am sharp. Tickets for dancers are priced at £20, while spectators pay £17.50.
