Ilford residents looking for an evening enjoying Indian culture can look to local Punjabi restaurant Kanchans in February. The Essex eatery is hosting an event called the “Valentines Live Music Night” featuring music and dining.

The upcoming event in Ilford will let guests enjoy a refined three-course meal of Indian cuisine while appreciating live musical performances led by talented Chelmsford singer Molly Gupta.
Amidst its carved wooden columns and high ceilings, Kanchans is celebrated for its authentic Punjabi style cuisine. Along with meat, it serves a selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes for those with plant-based diets too.
The live music set will include classic Bollywood numbers alongside popular western pop love songs. Gupta will sing both as lead vocalist for the evening and will be joined by co-singers Anirban Mandal and Naraynn PN for duets.
Soft drinks are included with the meal, but diners can also purchase other drinks at the bar.
