As part of an event for its Black History Month programme, an Ilford theatre will welcome a multi-talented presenter, rapper and actor.
The Kenneth More Theatre based in Ilford will play host to Richard Blackwood during Black History Month in November. The Clapham-born presenter will be appearing on the Comedy Shutdown event alongside other gifted artists bringing his experience and enthusiasm to bear on an East London audience.
Theatres, concert halls and other venues taking part in important annual events sometimes rely on dedicated flyer printing services for professional adverts that support the promotional campaigns they run.
A man of many talents, Blackwood is a well-known television presenter, rap star, crime writer, magician, MC and actor. In 2008, working with Kiss 100, Choice FM and the Police, Blackwood launched a series of seminars called 'Real Talk” featuring topical debates and discourse on issues impacting UK youth.
Currently he presents a show on Choice FM the London Radio station called “RB’s Sunday School” and guest DJs at nightclubs across then UK. His upcoming project will see him re-join the music world performing and recording as R. Biddy inspired by P. Diddy his idol.
Richard Blackwood will now be on stage at the Kenneth More Theatre on Friday, November 1. The theatre is sited on Oakfield Road in Ilford and the show will start at 7.30 pm.
