Ilford eatery to present comedy event

A café specialising in Halal cuisine from Pakistan, based in Ilford, will soon host a special comedy event.

Those looking for laughs and freshly baked goods will find an upcoming occasion in Ilford offers an ideal combination. Gants Hill café Naan Staap has announced it will be welcoming the Immigrants Abroad Stand-up Comedy Show this coming October.

The Pakistani-themed eatery is renowned in the area for its stuffed naan, cookies and cakes that only use Halal certified ingredients, which it serves to order. The upcoming East London comedy performance is titled "Laughing Across Borders: Immigrants Abroad Unite in Hilarity!" and will feature talented comics Syed Ahmad Raza and Salman Malik. An all-new comedy show, the set will feature the latest material from the two comedians who have taken the London stand-up scene by storm.

The Immigrants Abroad Comedy Show will now be performed live at Naan Staap on Friday 6th October. The café can be found at 374 Cranbrook Road in Ilford, which is only a three-minute walk from the Central Line’s Gant’s Hill Station.

The show will run from 7pm to 9.45pm and is suitable for those age 15 and over. Those attending can now book tickets for the show with or without a food order.
