Students from a high school in Ilford will have their work on display along other artists in a local exhibition.
Beal High School on Woodford Bridge Road in Ilford has reason to celebrate this summer. The Space Gallery’s summer Schools Exhibition 2024, which will run over the warmer months of the year, has selected 12 of the school’s students work to showcase.
Local artists around Essex often rely on professional Print shops to create full-colour, high-definition Copies of their work on quality paper to sell to clients and customers.
SPACE Studios is the largest supplier of studio space in London. Since 1968, it has been dedicated to constructing creative communities and supporting talented artists.
Earlier in the year, the gallery called for all schools in the area to enter a portrait in its competition. Pupils were asked to create a completely original portrait, with the image being a self-portrait or someone they knew and admired, like a friend or family member.
Students could also depict a public figure, like a musician, politician or a fictional character.
The Beal High School students whose work was picked to be part of the summer exhibition came from years 7 to 13. The local school has academy status and is a coeducational secondary school with a sixth form.
The SPACE summer school exhibition will run until August 28 at Space Gallery. The venue is based on Oakland Road in Ilford.Get a Free Quote for Copies Get a Free Quote for Print
