Film festival screening scheduled for Ilford

An Ilford venue is set to host a special celebration of cinema later in the year.

The Redbridge Film Festival for 2020 has been developed to showcase the emerging talents of both international and local filmmakers here in the UK, producing examples of independent cinema.

The festival organisers invite attendees to join the celebration that features a culturally diverse range of films along with informative talks and question and answer sessions with their creators following each screening.

The single-day event highlights the cinematic efforts of directors, producers and screenwriters who endeavour to tackle topical and societal issues through the medium of both feature films and shorts. The films chosen to be screened at the Ilford event have been hand-picked to appeal to cinema goers of a wide variety of ages. The film ‘Go Back & Get it’ by filmmaker Joanna Amara Alexander is among those listed for the festival.

The October festival is presented in partnership with the CEO and founder of the Screen Nations Awards, Charles Thompson MBE. Promoters of local events celebrating cinema can sometimes use professional printing services to create film Posters advertising individual titles to members of the public.

The Redbridge Film Festival 2020 will take place at Redbridge Town Hall at 128-142 High Road in Ilford on Tuesday, October 20. The day-long programme of films will begin at 10am and end at 11pm.
