This station is to be called Huddle Radio and it will be partnering with several local groups. Its news partner will be Huddersfield Hub, while the likes of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, The Kirkwood, Lawrence Batley Theatre and Huddersfield BID will also be involved. Numerous presenters have already been recruited, and the voice of Huddle Radio will be Danny Mylo. He is an experienced DJ, having previously presented the breakfast show on Pulse 1.
Other voices that people will be able to hear on the station are those of Caroline Verdon and Chris Johnson. Verdon will be presenting the Huddle Workday, while Johnson will be at the helm of the Drive show.
When new projects are first launched in Huddersfield, it is imperative to advertise them. Poster printing by local shops can help with that, because Posters are a good way of advertising.
The station is the brainchild of Nick and Sarah Hancock. Speaking to Huddersfield Hub, Sarah said:
“I’ve lived in Huddersfield all my life and wanted to create something positive and community-driven to showcase all the great people and places we have here.”
Following its official launch, Huddle Radio will be on air all day and night.
It starts broadcasting on 1st September.
