A brass band that is among the most celebrated anywhere in the world will be coming to Huddersfield later this year, to perform its annual festive concert.
This show by the Black Dyke Band has become a popular part of the Christmas period in the town, and it will be taking place again in 2023. The celebrated brass band performs a wide variety of music, so there are tunes for people of any age, with all of the beloved Christmas favourites included. This will mark a joyous and uplifting start to the season for the locals.

The venue for the concert will be Huddersfield Town Hall, providing the ideal acoustics for the high quality musicianship. The Black Dyke Band has been captured on record more often than any other brass band, on over 350 occasions.
Among the artists that have worked with the Black Dyke Band in the past are The Beatles, Tori Amos, Lesley Garrett and Elton John. The brass ensemble was also nominated for an Academy Award for its work on the ‘Babe II’ soundtrack.
