A brand new sports bar is set to open its doors in the centre of Huddersfield, as it takes over the space formerly occupied by a restaurant and bar.
This new venue is set to go by the name King Street Social Tap and it will be located in the street of the same name. The chosen premises used to be home to a popular restaurant and bar called the Slug & Lettuce. This had been a fixture in Huddersfield for a decade, but closed its doors for the last time at the start of the year. Now the owners of this new bar will be hoping for similar success.
It is owned by Amber Taverns, a company based in Blackpool. This firm is currently in the process of renovating the space, ahead of the grand opening. It is promising residents of the town a pub that they can be proud of.
Flyer printing by shops in Huddersfield is one of the ways in which new local venues can be promoted to the public when they first launch. Advertising Flyers can be produced cheaply and then handed out.
It has been confirmed that live sports will be at the heart of King Street Social Tap. There will be several television screens showing them, with the available events including pay-per-view boxing matches.
An opening date is still to be revealed.
