Perfect People is holding one of its weekly, Pay As You Go, business networking events in Huddersfield in mid-August.
This will be of interest to regional business managers and owners and covers the full spectrum from start-ups and SMEs to large national multi-site organisations. It is a useful opportunity to make new contacts, access information as well as utilise peer group advice and support.
The format starts with registration, an open networking session, essentially informal conversations over refreshments, all under the host's guidance. A guest or long time member will then deliver a ten-minute business and enterprise showcase with attendees subsequently allotted time to introduce themselves in their own two-minute profile presentation.
This is followed up by some more networking and a chance to exchange Business Cards, which effectively ends the formalities, just prior to lunch. These meetings can often and do lead to the forging of new business relationships and ultimately commercial opportunities.
There are no fixed contracts or rules about regular attendance but an online community does exist and is open to anyone who attends one monthly meeting. Tickets for the meeting cost £15 with refreshments and will cost £20 inclusive of lunch.
