This market is set to be given a comprehensive makeover, as part of the wider Huddersfield Blueprint project. The aim is to upgrade it so that it provides better options in terms of eating and drinking, as well for the stallholders who operate within it. The new version of the market would host various events and help to grow the economy in the heart of Huddersfield.
Now the team behind it have released a series of images that show what it could look like. The designs show two brand new buildings for housing the market, as well as a public space that would be called Market Yard.
When projects like this are in the planning stages, graphic design outlets in Huddersfield can help with the creation of images for use during consultations with the public.
Graham Turner from Kirklees Council told a local source that the market was already one of the more beloved parts of the town centre, before adding:
“These Plans would drive more footfall by giving people even more reasons to visit, with room to enjoy seasonal events and socialise with friends and family.”
Turner said the council was communicating with traders and the public over the Plans.Get a Free Quote for Plans
