Construction work on the Daphne Steel building at the university is ongoing at the moment, and is part of the plan to create a National Health Innovation Campus there.
Now, another planning application has been sent to the council for a second building that will be situated next to it. The idea is for this to be a two-storey building with a Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) Hub on the lower floor.
If it goes ahead, people who live in Huddersfield will be able to get CT scans and MRI tests there, which will have the potential to diagnose serious illnesses more quickly. Facilities like this one often rely on local Stationery printers for the Forms they need to keep them running in well-oiled fashion.
The NHS Foundation Trust has teamed up with the university on the project, and speaking to Yorkshire Live, Professor Bob Cryan, the Vice-Chancellor for the university, said:
“I am absolutely delighted to be working with Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust to deliver such an important facility for people in our community.”
This CDC Hub would be the first such facility to be built within a UK university campus.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Plans
