South Parade Properties is the developer behind this project, which is called Innovation 25, and the firm is managing it alongside Robert Austin & Co. The initial stage of it is made up of two light industrial and warehouse units that will measure 10,000 sq. ft and 5,000 sq. ft, and that are now well on the way towards being ready. The 5,000 sq. ft warehouse will be occupied by XYZ Machine Tools.
Building work has also begun on the second stage, which will see three smaller scale units constructed that are designed for small businesses. Any companies that move into them will find shops in Huddersfield that provide printed Business Cards to suit their specifications.
Matthew Austin from Robert Austin & Co told Insider Media that:
“We are very pleased to be nearing completion of Phase I which will provide excellent new high quality, energy efficient accommodation to serve the M62 corridor, Huddersfield and surrounding areas.”
The various units within the part are being rented out by the letting agents Walker Singleton and Carter Towler.
This new business park is due to be fully completed and ready for occupation by sometime during August.
