Taking place at the end of October, the festival is organised by the centre in partnership with Edgware Safer Neighbourhoods and the Edgware Town Team. It will feature workshops that enable kids to create craft items themed around autumn and Halloween – such as ghosts, bats and pumpkins – in addition to face painting, which is free of charge.
A particular high point is usually the treasure hunt, which is done in fancy dress. The theme for this year’s festival is characters from storybooks. Overall, this means that there is likely to be something on offer there to suit the interests of all children.
Edgware Town Team’s co-chair, Paul Dresner, told the Times Series that:
“This is the seventh annual fancy dress treasure hunt that we have held and it is looking to be the best event to date, with more participants and activities than ever before.”
He added that the theme would enable children to explore their imaginations and dress up as their favourite fictional characters.
The festival is held on the 27th of October and events such as this often make use of flyer printing services to help publicise them.
