The centre is situated on Station Road in Edgware, and it is encouraging residents to take part in a day of activities that will mix together an effort to clear rubbish from the streets with games and competitions that offer participants a shot at winning a prize.
Then, on the following day, it will be playing host to the One Great Day Extravaganza, which is the fun event after the hard work of the previous day. It is set to feature challenges, entertainment for the community and live arts and music performances. It will raise necessary funds for both Great Ormond Street Hospital and the charity Bright Futures UK. Poster printing is sometimes used to promote this kind of event.
Speaking to Times Series, the Broadwalk Centre general manager, Angela Brooks, stated:
“Hosting an event like this is a really fun way to give something back to support the wonderful work of Bright Futures UK and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, which supports patients and families across the UK.”
The clean-up day will be taking place on 17th August, while the One Great Day Extravaganza is set to happen on the 18th.
