A housing developer has announced Plans for a major new development that would be built at a site in Edgware, with the public now set to be consulted about the scheme.
Ballymore is the firm behind the plans, although it would be collaborating with TfL on the delivery of them. The housing development would consist of a number of tower blocks, each of which would be a maximum of 29 floors in height. The chosen site for the development, which measures a total of 7.9 hectares, is right in the centre of Edgware.
The designs for the blocks would be created by Glenn Howells Architects, which is currently producing preliminary sketches. Graphic design outlets in Edgware can help with the creation of final designs for new housing developments, revealing what they will look like when completed.
If this particular development is given the go ahead, it will mean a total of 4,000 new homes for the area, alongside a sizeable amount of space for shops and other amenities. Ballymore is also stating that it will provide full-time employment for 1,400 local people and will add £80 million per year to the economy in Edgware.
