A site not far from Edgware could be used for the construction of a brand new housing estate, if the Plans that have been submitted are given the nod by the local council.
The site in question is part of Edgware Community Hospital and it was formerly occupied by administrative buildings. The land is lying empty at the moment though, which could increase the chances of success for this application. The developer that submitted it wants to build an estate that would consist of a total of 129 homes.
NHS Property Services is behind the application and it consists of more than just housing. There would also be a number of new cycling and pedestrian routes constructed, as well as spaces for the local community and retail outlets.
