Brand new housing is set to be built at a location not far from Edgware, with the confirmation that Developer Chase New Homes has been granted planning permission.
The chosen site for the project is in Cricklewood, just a few miles from Edgware. The flats will be constructed close to the Brent Cross West station and will be the first homes built near it since it was launched. This mainline station was created to provide people in Barnet with quick and easy access to the heart of the capital.
The scheme will see a total of 251 homes built, of which 38 are set to be affordable properties. It will be situated on Claremont Road, with the land in question having previously been an industrial site occupied by P.B. Donoghue.
It will consist of three separate blocks, each containing flats that range from three bedrooms to one bedroom. There will be balconies and terrace areas provided as part of the Plans.
