A football club that is planning to move to a brand-new location not far from Edgware has now revealed the designs for its proposed stadium.
Barnet FC is intending to put in an application for planning permission. Despite the name of the club, it is not actually based within the borough of Barnet. Its current stadium is in Harrow, which is part of the neighbouring borough. Now, it is aiming to get permission from Barnet Council to move back to its true home and has revealed what its stadium would look like.
The chosen location is Barnet Playing Fields, which is near Edgware. The club used to have its home ground at Westcombe Drive, Barnet, but moved out of that stadium more than a decade ago. If permission is granted for its new ground, it will be just minutes away from there.
Supporters of sports clubs in the area are able to call on a number of useful services. One example is Edgware shops that offer banner printing, which fans can use to get Banners to take to matches.
The designs for the proposed new Barnet FC stadium were created by AndArchitects. They have been updated, with the chosen site now to the south of the fields rather than the north.
The application for the 7,000-seat stadium will be submitted this year.Get a Free Quote for Banners
