This strategy would see a significant number of changes made to the area. The cultural, entertainment and leisure offerings would be enhanced, while efforts would also be made to inject greater life and energy into the high street in Edgware by making the streets themselves more appealing and adding new open green spaces for use by local people.
The plans put together by the councils may also see improvements made to the public transport around the town centre, while ways of bringing the various historic buildings in the locale back into use in a way that celebrates their heritage could be explored.
Businesses based within town centres often look to nearby outlets that can provide them with useful items like Corporate Gifts in order to attract and retain clients.
Owners of businesses and other local people will be asked to take part in a public consultation, with Shimon Ryde from Barnet Council telling Times Series that:
“We’re really keen to hear what residents and businesses think of our plans. Once adopted, this strategy will form a key part of how we decide future planning applications in this area.”
This consultation is scheduled to last until 22nd February.Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts Get a Free Quote for Plans
