These pitches are contained within the facility called Powerleague The Hive, with Powerleague being an industry leader in Astroturf pitches. Its new centre in Edgware features nine pitches designed for five-a-side games and eight that are intended for seven-a-side use. It is set to be open every day between the hours of 9am and 10:30pm.
All of these pitches are made from cutting edge synthetic rubber fitted with shock pads. Each of the 17 pitches also come equipped with LED floodlighting, so that they can be used at all times of the year, at night as well as during the day.
