Two separate incidents in July saw fire crews called to the aid of a fox that was trapped – and on both occasions their efforts saved the foolish foxes from certain death.
On 6th July, a phone call was received by the RSPCA informing the organisation that a fox had managed to get stuck between a brick wall and shed. The animal had fallen into the space between these structures. Firefighters were called and managed to force them apart, releasing the fox without injury.
This was followed days later by a second fox that got itself imprisoned between a wall and fence made of concrete. This time the fire crew had to remove one of the panels from the fence to free the fox, which received treatment before being released.
Jill Sanders, from the RSPCA, told Barnet Today:
“These two foxes had really got themselves stuck and it’s amazing really how they both managed to come out relatively unscathed. We would like to thank the fire brigade for their work in rescuing both foxes, they were brilliant.”
Organisations like the RSPCA can always turn to places that offer flyer printing to help with promoting any advertising campaigns.
