Harassed residents of Edgware looking for ways to keep the children amused throughout the school summer holidays will be delighted to learn that the circus is hitting town over the summer period.
The Broadwalk Shopping Centre, in the town’s Station Road, will be playing host to a circus performer specialising in stilt walking and juggling on 4th August.
This is only the start of the activities planned for the month though, as the following Monday children will be given the opportunity to participate in circus workshops, learning skills like mini-bike riding, juggling, and plate spinning. On 18th August, activities will centre on puppetry, as children are shown how to create puppets of their own, followed by a performance for friends and family, before the programme concludes on Monday, 25th August with a workshop dedicated to the making of colourful sand pictures.
The series of hands-on activities is likely to be very popular with younger children, and the organisers will be able to rely on Print shops in Edgware for the flyer printing needed to let parents know when and where they are taking place.
The month-long programme will begin at 11am each Monday, with a 4pm finish time, and will be based at the central atrium in The Broadwalk Centre, close to the Costa Coffee shop. Children taking part must be supervised by adults throughout.Get a Free Quote for Print
