Woodlands School’s 2015 graduation ceremony was held last month, to mark the new adventure at secondary school which school’s final year pupils would be embarking on in the next academic year.
Councillor Ajay Maru, who used to serve as the mayor of Harrow, presented all of the children involved with medals with the help of the school’s headmaster, John Feltham.
The event also doubled as a farewell to Feltham on his final day in this role, with the headmaster having decided to retire following a 13-year stint as the head of the school.
Talking to a reporter from Times Series, Feltham stated that the ceremony was an annual event at the school and was intended to give the children a chance to showcase what they have accomplished during the year, adding:
“The children at Woodlands face many barriers to their learning and in their everyday lives. Together with the staff they work relentlessly to achieve their goals and to reach towards the school vision, which is about being a confident and courageous learner.”
As with other schools based in the local area, Woodlands can use Stationery printers in Edgware to ensure it has all of the educational materials it needs to support its pupils and staff alike.
