The authority wants people to put forward suggestions for ways in which cycling and walking can be made easier for people living in Colindale, which is just a couple of miles from Edgware. It has added a questionnaire to its website to help with that, and will also be organising briefing sessions and drop-ins where people can voice any thoughts that they have.
It is hoped that both cycleways and pathways in the area can be upgraded as a result of this, in addition to enhancing public spaces in general. The idea is that it will become simpler for residents of Colindale to get from one part to another. Its population has risen by 70% in the past decade and a half.
Stationery printers in Edgware can potentially be useful when it comes to public consultations, by providing the Forms needed for people to write down their suggestions.
Councillor Alan Schneiderman stated on the council website that:
“I would encourage everyone who lives, works or has a connection to Colindale to fill in the online questionnaire or attend a drop-by session to help us improve access across the community.”
The sessions will be held this month and next.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Forms
