Claremont Park represents the completion of the first stage of the Brent Cross Town regeneration scheme and its unveiling was marked with special celebrations. The chosen site for the new park is Claremont Way Open Space and the finished facility has been fitted with a number of amenities for use by members of the community, including play equipment for children.
This playground section of the park has a skate park, water play area, sandpits and metal structures for climbing on. Elsewhere, visitors to the new park will find an amphitheatre with a stage for live performances, wildflower meadows, hundreds of new trees, routes for pedestrians and cyclists, picnic tables and benches.
Graphic Design Services in Edgware can help with the development of regeneration schemes, by producing pictures to show what they will look like once they have been built.
Speaking to Times Series, Barry Rawlings from the local council said:
“I look forward to seeing children and adults enjoy everything the new park has to offer.”
Alongside the six further parks to be constructed as part of this particular scheme, there will also be new schools, restaurants, shops and a total of 6,700 homes.
