In the past, many of the organisations that have been involved with Super Connected Coventry (SCC) have been private firms. The PYF is now among several community groups to be enthusiastic about the opportunity to exploit superfast broadband delivered via SCC.
If those behind SCC want to attract more interest, they could perhaps use digital printing in Coventry to spread the word. Superfast broadband permits people interested in engagement to use a range of online methods in an efficient way.
The PYF has been operating within Coventry for a period of approximately 15 years. In that time, the group has cooperated with a wide variety of partners; as a result, it has been able to deliver numerous sessions for young people.
Being active is beneficial to the individuals in question, many of whom have participated in pursuits such as drama, sport, dance, and music. However, those in charge of the PYF have felt that their schemes would have a greater impact than they currently do if they use more methods of communication. They consider social media to have significant potential.
Krishan Singh, of the PYF, has told the Coventry Telegraph:
“The superfast broadband connection will allow The Positive Youth Foundation to be much more accessible to more young people who might be thinking of taking part.”
