Coventry residents could soon have another takeaway option, as Plans for the conversion of a building in the city have been submitted to the council.
The building that has been selected for this takeaway is right in the heart of Coventry. It is situated on Corporation Street, at number 30A. There is no current occupant of the building and that could help Coventry City Council to make its decision. The local authority will be keen to get a space that is in such a prominent location back into use if possible, so may favour the application.
At the moment, there is only limited information available about who is behind the Plans. The name of the applicant is a mystery, but there is evidence that pizzas will be on the menu. The environmental noise assessment describes the planned eatery as ‘a pizza takeaway.’
When new takeaways first open in Coventry, it is very important for them to advertise. Handing out promotional Flyers is a good way of doing that and Coventry has flyer printing outlets that can supply them.
Other information that has been revealed about this potential outlet includes its proposed opening hours. These would be 11am to 11pm and it would be open seven days a week.
The application is a change of use one and the decision will be made by Coventry City Council planning officers.
