The Jaguar Cars Sports and Social Club is hoping to create three courts for playing padel on. The plan that it has submitted indicates that they would be situated on the land that is currently home to the 3G football pitch. That would be moved to a spot right alongside that is not currently in use. As the application points out, padel is a sport that is growing rapidly in popularity around the country.
According to the Coventry Telegraph, this application goes on to state:
“The courts will be available to the public on a pay-and-play basis at competitive market rates, ensuring accessible opportunities for individuals, families and community groups throughout the local area.”
