US actor bringing band to Coventry

An acclaimed film and television star is coming to Coventry with his backing band to perform country music from his latest release.

Coventry fans of the actor Kiefer Sutherland know him best from his big and small screen performances playing characters like ace agent Jack Bauer in hit show “24” and the vampire David in cult classic “The Lost Boys”. However, this summer they will be able to see him on stage at the hmv Empire playing live with his band on the “So Full Of Love” tour. Promoters of international tours sometimes look to high-quality poster printing services to produce eye-catching advertisements for shows to encourage ticket sales.

The British-born Canadian brings the same dedication to his music as he has to his star-studded career in movies. Over the last 10 years, he has been producing country music albums infused with rock, blues and folk. The Guardian newspaper called his music poignant, while Rolling Stone acknowledged his edgy and passionate vocal talents.

The upcoming gig in Coventry will showcase songs from Sutherland’s most recent album “Bloor Street”.

Kiefer Sutherland and his band will now play live in concert at the hmv Empire on Saturday, July 22. The venue is located at 22 Hertford Street in Coventry. The show will start at 7pm and end at 11pm.
