Rock and roll comes to Coventry

One of the UK's most popular Rock & Roll touring variety shows, That'll Be The Day, returns to Coventry at the end of October.

Many will already have seen or heard of the well-known film of the same name. It represents a nostalgic trip down memory lane for some, but should also appeal to younger people with an interest in the music of the period. It is aimed at all who want an evening filled with good humour, talented voices and quality musicianship to move their feet to, listen and enjoy.

This is a brand-new production of the show, which is now in its 35th year. Once again, the production features Gary, Trevor and the rest of the team, entertaining with their distinctive mix of impressions and comedy sketches. These are combined with a string of classic rock and pop tunes, taking the audience right back to the 1950s through to the 1970s. The show has received many favourable reviews in both the local and national press.

Tickets cost £28 and, in the light of current circumstances, it is advisable to check with the organisers prior to attendance. Poster printing can be an effective method of advertising such events in the community at large.

That'll Be The Day will take place over two nights between 7:30pm and 10:40pm on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October at The Albany Theatre, Coventry.
