Hundreds of professional people from the region are expected to attend the gala ceremony. The annual event was first held 21 years ago.
Full colour printing in Coventry may be used to promote the awards ceremony next year if it goes ahead, and sponsors can gain publicity from getting involved.
Andy Gibb, the managing director for the Ricoh Arena, has told the Coventry Telegraph:
“We are delighted the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards are returning to the Ricoh Arena. The awards evening is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the region’s business successes and hear about all the great achievements of the last 12 months.”
Gibb has stressed that regional developments have contributed to the national economic recovery. In particular, he has mentioned public announcements that have been made in relation to the future of engineering and manufacturing.
The awards will be granted to firms in a dozen categories, and exporters and innovators have been encouraged to put themselves forward for consideration. Participation from businesses that have taken action with regard to environmental sustainability has also been welcomed.
One firm will achieve the accolade of Company of the Year. In 2014, Coventry’s Serious Games International came away with this award, which is the top prize.
