Major cycling event coming to Coventry

A large cycling tour, the Vélo Birmingham and Midlands, will head to Coventry in 2019.

Coventry will be a City of Sport next year and it is fitting that the Vélo Birmingham and Midlands is going to make a local impact. Councillor Abdul Khan is second in command at Coventry City Council and he told the Coventry Telegraph:

“The route will take riders past Coventry’s iconic cathedral, which will offer a stunning backdrop and I’m sure that riders and the public will come out and support the event.”

Councillor Khan is confident that the occasion will prove to be highly positive for the city and the region. He added that many individuals have already signed up to participate in the ride. Organisers of events such as this often use poster printing to provide participants, supporters and sponsors with the necessary Promotional Products.

The launch of the Vélo Birmingham and Midlands has taken place recently. This event was held in Birmingham at the Cycle Show. Lord Sebastian Coe headed up a panel which started the ball rolling. Lord Coe is the chair at CSM Sport & Entertainment, an organisation which enables a variety of activities to occur.

It is suggested that individuals who want to engage with the journey should pre-register. There is a deadline of midnight on October 3 for people eager to commit. The entry process begins on the day after the deadline.
