The local branch of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD) is organising an Employment Law Update to be held in Coventry early in July.
These sessions will be delivered by Shakespeare Martineau, with Helen Hughes leading the Employment Team in the presentation. It is a chance for attendees to keep abreast of key employment issues and current legal developments as well as the relevant legislative changes. It should appeal to those working in all sectors who deal with matters of employment and employment law on a daily basis.
The CIPD focuses on human resources and in particular on professionals in this field eager to engage in continuous learning and ongoing development. It organises a series of lectures, seminars and workshops as well as providing valuable networking opportunities for its members.
The update itself is divided into two sessions, the ‘Breakfast Bites’ and the ‘Mid-Morning’ session, at which the presentation is repeated, so those attending have a clear choice of timings. Tea or Coffee, breakfast and refreshments will be served.
Tickets cost £12 for non-members, which is non-refundable while members get in free. Visitors may want to bring along some extra Business Cards in order to expand their list of professional contacts.
The CIPD Employment Law Update will take place between 8am and 12:30pm in two sessions on Wednesday 8th July at the Doubletree by Hilton in Coventry.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
