The deadline for nominating companies for the annual Coventry Telegraph Business Awards (CTBA) is nearing.
The CTBA is on July 15, and companies are still being put forward within the various award categories. On October 20, the Ricoh Arena, which is located in Coventry, will be the site of the event. Providers of luxury Business Cards from Coventry may see an increase in demand prior to the gala.
There is still work to do before the event is hosted as more sponsors are being asked to come forward. The yearly occasion was first held over two decades ago, and sees businesspeople from the city-region come together to promote enterprise and innovation.
City College Coventry (CCC) is in with a chance of winning the award for Sales and Marketing. CCC is involved in the provision of further education; it delivers apprenticeships, training and courses. Further, it engages with the needs of SMEs and people who have found it hard to access suitable courses in the past.
For CCC to hit its targets, it pursues an online marketing strategy. The organisation records data in relation to feedback and website hits. It also tracks the number of guests that attend its open days. CCC will have to compete for the marketing award with several other organisations, making its chance of success difficult to predict.
