Coventry to retell famous folk story

Robin Hood, as presented by The Three Inch Fools, is due to arrive in Coventry towards the end of August.

This innovative theatre company has an acknowledged reputation for touring with original and vibrant musically inspired productions. These utilise a wide variety of instruments and incorporate rapid costume changes.

A completely new soundtrack is created for every production in collaboration with up and coming composer and producer Stephen Hyde. These frequently drift between world and folk music, on to rock and classical, through to opera and pop.

Over a period of six years, The Fools have focused on presenting Shakespeare to a much wider audience. They have recently formed a new troupe of five actors to go on tour with a non-Shakespearean first in Robin Hood.

England's famous folk tale is retold in their distinctive way in an evening filled with music and storytelling, as well pacy drama. It is a seasonal adventure suitable for the entire family.

Tickets cost between £8 and £16 for adults, with children younger than 10 gaining free entry. Poster printing is widely recognised as an effective way of drawing the public's attention to forthcoming artistic or cultural events like this.

The Three Inch Fools production of Robin Hood has a starting time of 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 25 at the Cathedral Ruins, Coventry.
