Coventry to mark Halloween with spooky activities

Coombe Country Park in Coventry is set to be transformed to hold two of the region’s biggest Halloween celebrations next week.

As part of the festive occasion, visitors will be able to enjoy a number of spooky stories from creepy characters on Tuesday, before the Halloween Monster Lab takes place on Thursday.

The park and nature reserve has been developed over centuries, with the input of many individuals.

Covering 500 acres of woodland, the venue will provide the perfect backdrop for the All Hallows’ Eve event. The diverse landscape makes Coombe Country Park a popular location for people across the midlands, whether its families looking to soak up the festivities and celebrations or couples wanting to enjoy a relaxing stroll.

The Halloween spectacular is expected to draw people from far and wide, as people travel to help the mad scientists with their experiments. The interactive session on offer allows people to take part in monster meddling, and may spook even the bravest of visitors.

The event is being publicised using various channels. Digital printing in Coventry means that high quality Stationery can be produced to spread the word if necessary. Flyers and Banners can also be used to inform visitors of locations, admission prices and time, and by keeping the printing services local to Coventry, the region’s economy will be supported.

Visitors must book prior to attending the event, via the park’s visitors’ centre or by emailing coombe.countrypark@coventry.gov.uk. More information can also be found on the Visit Coventry and Warwickshire website.
