This annual event is put together by Coventry City Council, but the local authority partners with other organisations to deliver it. The main one is CV Life, a community centre based at Sherbourne Crescent. The 2024 Sports Fest will see both national sporting bodies and clubs from the area in attendance and will offer almost a week of activities for residents at no cost.
Among these will be table tennis, dance, gaming that utilises augmented reality tech, archery and cricket. The venue for the event is set to be Broadgate, right in the heart of the city.
Brochure printing services within Coventry are just one of the numerous ways in which the organisers of events like this can inform people about what is on offer.
Speaking to the Coventry Observer, Kamran Caan from the council stated that:
“Sports Fest is a major highlight of Coventry’s summer events calendar and is loved by residents across the city. The event is completely free to attend and covers many different sports and activities suitable for all ages and skill levels.”
He concluded by urging people who have never attended to come along. It takes place from 6th to 11th August.
